National Museum of Scotland

after a lovely walk up the observatory hill followed by a visit to the National Geological Survey open day (complete with some free maps, so I'm a happy man) I met up with my girlfriend for coffee at Black medicine, a very nice cafe on drummond street.

after this, we went to look around the newly opened museum, which was amazing. going to have to come back and have another look, and bring a real camera!

First shift of my new job in an hour, not got an appetite but need to eat because my shift doesn't end until 3!
