"Before my very eyes...

Walked down to the salmon hatchery close by this morning before the sun had risen above the trees. First time I've been there
The salmon hatchery is run by a non profit group of devotees who donate a considerable amount of their time to this worthy cause. (For anyone who's interested have a look here)
The hatchery is located alongside Noons Creek and there are smashin' opportunities for the slow shutter speed variety of water shots
Sunlight found a way to break through the trees and hit the handrail of the fence and instantly turned last night's dew into steam
The volunteers told me that there was only small (Coho) fry, (pun absolutely intended), in the ponds just now, so it was impossible to see them, especially because of the nets they keep over the ponds to keep the birds, otters, and other predators out
I'll defo go back in a few weeks to see how things have changed. (Note to self, remember to take tripod)

Oh. It might be worth a peek a bit bigger

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
