Messing around on the water.....

This morning I met up with C and captain T who invited me aboard their boat Mistress P for a cruise up the river Ouse to the market town of St Ives.

Mistress P, powered by a Ford Cortina engine meandered slowly up the river in the glorious sunshine. Around the midday mark a glass of something pink and bubbly was placed in my hand........a very civilised way to spend the day....

Upon reaching St Ives, C and I went to visit the French market in town leaving captain T to do boat things...... After the gathering of cheese, sausage and olives we sat down to some lunch, with Captain T providing some "nautical sausage"........Promise not to mock the hotdog any more Captain T !!! :)

The blipped boat has clearly seen better days and I'm sure will continue to slip slowly to her resting place in the river...
