...not to buy etc...?

a friend lent me her canon eos5d mkII today as i've been toying with the idea of upgrading. it's much heavier than my little 400d, i only had about an hour and could only use my zoom on it for comparison; my other lenses aren't compatible. am not sure - any input gratefully accepted.
