Where did the dinosaurs go?

I realised today. They turned into trees. Better take care of the trees.

Just agonised over a shortlist of three photos. A sunset (proudly made by iPhone), a public footpath sign with arrows going in all directions (story of my life) and this one. I love trees. Not in the hugging way - they're just... fascinating. Sometimes I stand still and look at a leaf and think how perfect it is.Whether it's green or dry or sick or torn. The perfection of nature. Don't know where this came from. A thought I had again and again since childhood, when I first stared at a leaf with fascination. Back then, it was a vine leaf in our garden at home.

Perhaps there's a reason we hit rock bottom - it can give us impulse of a trampoline, and hey, by the end of the week I've learned how to bounce back up. Finished work mid-day, and tomorrow's MINE. Soul balanced, inspiring friends out there and a quiet walk across the fields when it's no longer day and not yet night, no longer warm and not yet cold. And so much air!
