Kereru

Got some good close shots of these beauties today - He was going around eating all the new buds on the willow tree... got some good ones of his scoffing down a big mouth full... I also couldn't choose one image so snuck on two!...
He was sitting on the branch posing for me then all of a sudden launched straight for me and luckily I fired the shutter.
- Great day today, huge bush walk, time for a bbq & beer... mmmm
