Perfect way to relax

After discovering a very peaceful little backwater down by the river, imagine my surprise when I heard voices and these two women floated around the corner.

Apparently they go out regularly just gently cruising around our river and, as one of them said, all their cares just disappear with the tranquility of it all. They had already seen a kingfisher and lots of other wildlife along the banks.

The inflatable belonged to the Dutch-born woman in the bow. The woman behind her was doubtful when her friend asked her to join her on a river trip some time ago. Now she is hooked! I think it's a pastime I could get used to, too...
