Chopsy
Just a usual quiet Sunday, although I should have actually done some work but couldn't really be bothered, it's the weekend so I should be resting. So instead I went to watch some football on the Gnoll, as Neath F.C. took on Bala in the Welsh league. It was a bit of a top of the table clash as Bala had got off to go a good start, until they came unstuck last week, and Neath were also challenging at the top. You'd never have guessed though with the performance of the two teams, Neath came out winners 4-0. Bala had some good chances but Neath's keeper Lee Kendall made some good saves, but Neath were just too good and old Magic Daps, Lee Trundle enjoyed himself creating and scoring goals.
It's never quiet at the Gnoll when Neath F.C. are playing, even when the game may be as dull as dishwater because of three people. For me Neath F.C. have to be winners of the Chopsy League with their manager, Terry Boyle, keeper, Lee Kendall and old magic daps, Lee Trundle, they are non-stop throughout the game. How Boyle manages to keep his voice I have no idea, as you could hear him barking his orders in Briton Ferry, Lee Kendall, is another one always barking orders from his area even if his team are at the other end of the pitch on attack. Lee Trundle is not so bad as the others but is always wanting the ball played up to him, so he can do his magic, and to be fair like we saw today he can create magic. The blip is Trundle celebrating Neath's four goal after a mazy run.
For those of you not familiar with Welsh slang, chopsy means someone who likes the sound of their own voice or someone who can't stop talking. It's a great word!
