Sunday Swirls!

Slow start to the morning after waking at 3.30am and not being able to get back to sleep till 6.30am!! I hate overactive, early morning minds! The tiniest niggle always seems like a mountain of worry at that time!!

Nodded off just as D was getting up to go for a round of golf. He played with our friend D and had a good round so returned home happy and smiling in time for lunch. Joined for lunch by our best friends A & A and their daughter (our god-daugher) E.

Not seen them for a few weeks due to their work shift patterns so was lovely to spend a leisurely afternoon sitting in the conservatory catching up and eating spicy butternut squash soup and prawn with lime mayo sandwiches, followed by tea & M&S Victoria Sponge :))

Lounged about after they left with that "there's something I've forgotten to do feeling" then I remembered....BLIP!!!! Raining outside so wandered round the house and came up with this shot. It's a wooden spiral "plant" thing that I have a few of in a vase and when I turned it mono, it reminded me of THIS. I keep expecting James Bond to wander across it any second! LOL!

Talking of Bond has given me the perfect excuse to include my favourite ever BOND THEME :)))

Steak pie, creamy mash & veggies for dinner tonight.....I'm hoping if I sit here quietly with the lap top, D will get it started :))))
