Exposure

With the days shortening, I decided to practice on long exposure a bit (while I don't have to were gloves yet). Learnt a few things: it's better to expose for 30 seconds, it's better to use a small aperture. Still, this shot with both rules not yet applied turned out best.

In the background one of Rotterdam's mosques, by a notorious Dutch right wing party referred to as 'hate palaces'. Never understood why. The party's Great Blond Leader really made a fool of himself in the Dutch cabinet debates this week, yelling 'act normal, man' to our prime minister and calling Turkish president Erdogan an 'Islamic monkey'. Although he denies saying literally that. Luckily the party lost two seats in the polls because of this incident, I'm really getting fed up with our politics being a theater piece with a bunch of 4-year-olds acting in it.
