Birthday girl

What a super day. I was woken up at 8am by the kids who had come upstairs with tea and toast for me and hubby. When the curtains were drawn, we saw a beautiful sunny, cloudless sky. A perfect start to my birthday.
The kids had also brought all the presents and cards up.
Hubby and the kids bought me

- iPad camera connector

I was thrilled to bits with the presents. The kids were ecstatic about the iPad but I had to keep reminding them with the words "It's mine " !!

After lunch, we drove down to 'Polesden Lacey' near Dorking, Surrey. We did a geocache walk (a treasure hunt game where you go for a walk and try and find the treasure box). We had taken some objects with us and once the box is found, you can take something out and replace it with something else. We went for a very long walk and we got lost at some point. There were supposed to be a number of these geocache boxes along the route but we only managed to find one right at the end of the route.
We drove home and then cycled to Red Peppers restaurant with a birthday cake in a bag.
I love birthdays but I don't like increasing my age by one every year.
