Anne's Daily Encounters

Orange carpet

making an evening stroll in the polder I found this corner where the red cycling path looks like an orange carpet leading up to the sewage plant that's here since a couple of years. It recycles the sewage waters of almost 1,5 million people and I don't know how many gallons of water that is per day, definitely a lot. By biological breakdown of the sewage the waters are cleansed and finally transported thro' a pipeline into the seas.

It's the lining of the parapet and orange floor here that make me pick this blip rather than the camomile with the last white flowering leafs around the yellow heart that I blipped in the thereabouts too.
