Tile Roofing in Cuzco (Peru 1/16)

We stayed our first several nights in Peru in the city Cuzco, an old Incan capital, high in the Andes. We had the only room at the top floor of a small hotel - hence what you see here is the view out of our window. This style of tiled roofing can be seen all over Peru. The "Viva El Peru" writing in the mountain can be seen from several parts of Cuzco and is featured in probably way too many of my photos.

What's not pictured is a school next door which apparently had an open air courtyard, a loud speaker and a general assembly at around 7:30 AM. A couple mornings were not pleasant ones.
