Ram alone
Not such a good day today. N went up to Bristol and the hospital decided to keep him since his test results weren't quite as good. He left without his phone charger, his radio and his spectacles so he is not a happy bunny. They may let him out tomorrow depending on what the surgeon says.
A heifer calved a backwards calf which was stillborn. We always get a few but why today!? T and a neigbouring farmer did their best. Another calf for the hunt kennels.
The cow and twins were put into the field with the others and P is ploughing up behind the house. All the pale stubble fields are now turning a dark brown.
This large ram (I don't know what breed) belongs to a family down in the hamlet behind us. They have several sheep and obviously needed to separate the ram from the others. He has been put out to grass in our neighbour's small paddock and feels very lonely!
