had a lovely walk in the royal botanic gardens with the twins being wheeled by their mum, & my mum being wheeled in her wheelchair by my husband.
so i was in the roles of daughter, wife, mother & grandmother all at the same time. it makes for a little thought needed in the conversations - raise my voice a bit for my mum; use the slightly higher pitch we all seem to use, but to the twins, not my daughter for fear of causing offence! etc.....

the sun shone, autumn was in the air & in the hues of the trees - it was worth the superhuman effort we made to actually get there!
