Oh deer!

Caught a glimpse of this little chap hiding in amongst the vegetation beside the river Waveney today.
Quietly got the camera out of its bag, aimed, focused and just as i shot he whipped his head to one side!
About a second later he whipped off into the bushes, never to be seen again.
Had the makings of a cracking photo up to that point!

I've referred to it as a 'he' but in actual fact it could be a 'she'. . . . . . .
Anyone know the difference?
