The Needle's Eye
This is the second of the Wentworth Follies, and probably the least well known, as it?s the only which can?t be seen from a distance, due to being surrounded on both sides by trees. I chanced a drive up to it tonight, in response to a fantastic glow to the sky. The 18-270 really seems to shine at this combination of aperture and focal length, retaining textural detail throughout all areas of the image.
Nikon D300; Tamron 18-270mm @ 30mm; ISO 200; F/10; 0.5 seconds. VC off.
