Blue Sky Saturday
It's a clear blue sky day. It's 57 degrees. And we are off to explore.
Our first stop is Portage Lake, about 60 miles south of Anchorage, at the foot of two glaciers. The green tint to the water is due to the glacial silt. This is the first day the tourist attractions are operating.
We drove the tunnel to the little harbor town of Whittier. We drove the Turnagain Pass to the dot of a shore town of Hope.
A great Spring day!
