Big pumpkin

The fourth annual giant pumpkin weigh off was scheduled in Lepaa, Hattula Saturday, September 24, 2011. The sport-cum-hobby is relatively new in Finland. The winner weighted whopping 420 kilograms. The pumpkin in the picture is the silver medalist from Helsinki. Giant pumpkin grower Erkki Takkunen didn't tell the weigh of it, but it may be about 400 kilograms. Left you can see also his successful zucchini and its trophy. And now i dream about a BIG pumpkin pie!
