Juramento de la Bandera

Today was Flag Day.

So instead of classes in the high school we had a big ceremony. Some students stitched these flags to narrate the story of how the national flag has changed over time (we are currently using the eighth flag). Other students recited poems. All of them sang the national and municipal anthems and all of them took a toast.

The celebration culminated as each of the eight students from the graduating class kissed the real big current flag and announced that they swore to it. I think.
