The idea is...

People who don't know sometimes think this house is empty when they see boarded up windows on the ground floor. But the boards aren't always there, they go up in winter or when very high tides are expected.
If you are a photographer the idea is to catch the moment when the wave hits the wall and sweeps over the road to hit the house. Trev had a success last week but no luck today despite the weather not being the second summer we were promised. *
* I think I missed most of the first one too!

PS Thanks for the good wishes to Peony the goat-kid. I have had an e.mail from her new owner and she has made friends with the other kid and also some two legged kids who spent time cuddled up with her in the small goat shed leaving no space for Susie, the other goat!
