A tree with birds?

My job has recently brought me back to Motherwell and I had forgotten about this. I have been trying to blip for a few weeks but there was always someone sitting on the 'stumps' or walking in front. I couldn't believe that I had a clear shot and then to add to it the sun came out as well.

I'm not really sure of the story behind this but i'm sure that the fact that the tree and birds are metal in reference to the former local steel industry.

I also remember a lovely chap I used to work with had the mock up of this in his office and it had pride of place. It always makes me think of him, he was taken from us all far too young.
