Mark Cousins

BB and myself and are completely enthralled by Channel 4's new documentary series The Story of Film:An Odyssey. We're really enjoying hearing and seeing how cinema developed through innovation and would encourage anyone who loves cinema to catch up on 4OD

Well imagine my my surprise tonight when I bumped into the it's creator, film maker and critic Mark Cousins at a reception.

As you would expect he was utterly charming and talked me through some of the techniques he used to shoot the series and his ideas on how he tried to make it enjoyable and informative.

I also had a quick chat with David Puttnam which was very nice.
