Clafoutis aux cerises
Time to show my students what some of that regional French food they're researching tastes like.
Because if a picture is worth a thousand words, a piece of cake is worth a thousand pictures of the cake.
So here's a clafoutis aux cerises, made with my aunt's infallible family recipe. What the students don't know is that I won't tell them what it is...they have to figure it out and in what region it originated themselves.
Or they don't get to taste the next specialty I make...
By the way, the crick's flooding again tonight...not as badly, but still a couple roads closed off just down the block and the ducks are swimming in the baseball field again. Sigh.
