Done Properly?

As I was walking up the alley near work, en route to the station, this struck me: a bit of wood leaning up against a graffiti'd wall ... and someone had decided even that bit of wood required graffiti.

I'm afraid Banksy wouldn't like my attitude to graffiti, but really, I can't see how these idiotic tags could possibly be seen to have any merit whatsoever - artistic or otherwise.
