The thrill of the chase

I bet everyone does it: You nip out for an evening's ride and then you spot another cyclist half a mile ahead. And before you know it its head down and steady pedaling. After a couple of miles I gained on but never caught whoever it was... and probably a good job too. I can't go slowly overtaking proper cycling bods on my BMX. I'd be too embarrassed and anyway I'd never be able to keep up the pace after they decided to stop cruising.
