You served me well

Usually, I play football twice a week - once on a synthetic grass field (8 players on each team), once indoors (5 players on each team).

I always use the same shoes for the different games, something I shouldn't, as the pavements are different.

Each pair lasts around four months before the right shoe (pictured) starts desintegrating and goes to the garbage bin.

One thing I've started doing is keeping the left shoe, instead of throwing it away with the right one. Once in a blue moon, it's the left shoe that gives up, so sometimes I play with different shoes.
