Obsolescence

Less than a year after getting my pride and joy, they damn well come up with a newer flashier version (according to news reports today).

Much as I love my Kindle, it just goes to show how quickly gadgets become obsolete; mind you when I get into a collection of paper books, they often change the cover images or book size half way through a series so that you would have to buy them all over again to possess them as a matching series of books.

It's just the way of the world I suppose.

I will stand by my Kindle.
