Sunrise in an hour
Moonscape; False Bay with Cape Point lighthouse on the right.
It's very warm again this morning (not 31C like yesterday fortunately) and the moon is putting on a magnificent display, giving the impression of daylight an hour before the sun rises.
I've tried this on a number of occasions before and am beginning to get the hang of it now. If the weather holds, I'll give it another shot tomorrow.
The all manual 50mm f1.4 I used for this pic was an e-Bay purchase for less than $100, which goes to show that you don't have to have brand new lenses to get pin sharp pictures.
