Five a Day

Bb went to our Wed food market today and when I went up to meet him he'd already bought this lovely selection. Oh, and two trays of strawberries too! Being a man though, he hadn't checked what we still had in the fridge first, so we'll be on 10 a day for the next few days! The green fruit on the left is one we discovered here and is called fruta de conde. It's not cheap at 5 reais (about 2 euros), so we just get one and savour it and fight over it. It's flesh is white, moist, slippery and sweet. It will be on our breakfast table tomorrow.
