Corryvreckan Whirlpool
After we'd checked out of our B&B we drove back to Dalavich to help with clearing up the hall. We then headed out to Easdale to take a boat trip to the Corryvreckan Whirlpool.
Was lots of fun, saw both types of seal (Harbour and Grey?), wild goats, deer, buzzard, sea eagle. Passed an area where the tidal changes around the area caused the sea to be at two different heights. Passed through the whirlpool area, third largest in the world where the currents cause whirlpools to form. It was really odd to watch, in a way, a little like watching a geyser prepare to blow, the water would swell and change before it started to swirl.
After the boat trip we took a nice scenic tour down to Loch Lomond. Gave up on the SatNav so we could choose some nice little detours. Went through Glen Douglas, saw lovely Highland Coos but they refused to lift their heads for a good photo. Checked in to another lovely B&B in Balloach before heading out for dinner.
