Grapevine

We were told by an elderly neighbour that years ago local residents were given cuttings from the famous grapevine at Hampton Court. He is pretty certain that our grapevine will have grown from one of those cuttings.

Whether this is true or not, I do not know. I like to think it is! The grapes are delicious and taste completely different to shop bought grapes.

The problem is using them all! In years gone by, as well as giving to friends, I have tried ...

1. Juicing - too much effort for too little!
2. Grape jelly
3. Donating to local greengrocer

This year I think it has got to be home made wine....!
