Ant

I had real trouble deciding what to blip today. This one or this one. The other is a much better pic but this one is more apt for today.

Today in Shenyang, I was on the bus and it stopped and started to blast it's horn. Nothing special in that trust me.. but everyone was stopped and were blasting their horns. Everyone from the shops along the street came out and stood quietly on the street for 1 minute. From what I can gather, there was a national minute of silence to honour the people who died in the earthquake in Sichuan Province. It was an amazing thing to be part of and a wonderful thing for the Chinese people to do.

Just wonderful... but so very, very sad.

The tiny ant sitting on the edge of the leaf is probably a little like the people in Sichuan trying to help.
