The Shining

In hospital after the elbow op. On a drip. On oxygen. On morphine. Trying to sleep. It didn't work. All I kept seeing was this light shining above my bed.

I kept thinking my dog Hoover was in my hospital room. The nurse told me I kept saying "mind my doggy, don't stand on her feet". Lets hope that was as bad as my post op ramblings got!
