Halt, who goes there!
Another unbelievably warm day. I was in Oxfam this morning and ladies who were visiting for the week were coming in to buy Summer tops having only brought warm clothes!
This afternoon we did our usual round of the local fields. Very sadly we saw that the fox had killed one of the geese and possibly removed a second. The remaining 3 were together well away from their shelter. I suppose that's nature and the fox has to feed but the dead goose was left in the middle of the field having had it's head removed. Mike put it in the hedge in a less distressing location.
On the up side, I had to call briefly on a neighbour with a message and there was Guiness preparing to have a bath. Now that would be a sight. I think Bracken is a little over-awed by him, who wouldn't be! I wish I could have stayed for the bathing, it's a good day for it as he should quickly dry out. I'm sure he will feel much better. I can't imagine having that super thick coat and it's black.
Time is a bit short these days so forgive my lack of or sparse comments.
