It's amazing what a bit of sunshine does to raise a city's spirits. People everywhere were smiling, enjoying a bonus day of wearing their shades.

And as if to prove how benevolent everyone was feeling, a very kind lady indeed saw how tired I was post night shift, and insisted on giving me her seat a stop early.
