Chilling

A whole week has passed and the death toll continues to climb with fewer reports of people being found alive.

This was a couple of seconds after a three-minute silence to mark the start of three days of mourning in China. Workers watched, shoppers stopped, and traffic halted. Horns and sirens wailed for the entire three minutes from 14:28, heard on the 21st floor as we stood and looked out of the window at the stationary scene below - very moving indeed.

Entertainment and sport is cancelled, so no netball or tennis for me this week. Still doing extra hours in work. It's going to be another weird week I think.
