Caldbeck Common

I love this tree, I have passed by it most days of my life. When I was younger there was an old lady that stood by the tree waiting for her husband who had died years before.

This tree provides shelter and a great scratch post for the sheep, cows and fell ponies on the common but for me it gives hope that not everything has to be perfect and that we shouldn't give up on lost causes just because they are a bit wind swept and go in the wrong direction to everthing else.
