Significant picnic

I got officially engaged this evening. Was going to upload a pic of my ring (which I love btw) but instead I thought I'd show our lovely surroundings where he popped the question.

It's been a surprising and stunningly warm september day, so we had a spontaneous (or so i thought) family picnic by the river where J and I use to go during our lunch break when we first started dating. Oh how things have changed for us in those 8 1/2 years.

The kids are thrilled we've finally decided to tie the knot. And I'm pretty pleased too ;-)
