Bird on the Bale

Spotted a mean looking bird in the distance sat on a freshly spun bale of hay this morning in the field out the back of the house.

Grabbed the camera and zoomed in to take a few pictures.

Wasn't until I did some cropping when I realised that the picture showed a proper bird of prey like face....

I'm thinking Hawk? Kestrel? Osprey?

Who knowes? Any idea?
