View Across The Loch

Had a long weekend in the south west highlands.
Hired a cottage with friends on the shore on Loch Criagnish.
I've not been to this part of Scotland before so wasn't sure what to expect.
Coastline is quite rugged. A few hills about but nothing of any real size. But there are some lovely lochs (lakes) to take in.

This shot is by the side of Loch Craignish.
We stopped at this bay and did a bit of stone skimming.
If only we'd know that the World Stone Skimming Championship was taking place not 20 miles from here. We could have entered!
