Deluge

We must have gotten at least 4 inches of rain in just an hour today. It was coming down so hard the dogs refused to venture outside and SOMEBODY peed on the kitchen rug when my back was turned! (I think it was the Beagle, she looked pretty guilty...)

The little stream that normally goes through a pipe culvert actually came up over it and flowed right down the middle of the farm road! Leaving a large crack in its wake, unfortunately for our neighbors, who have just spent umpteen dollars fixing the road up for winter.

Worked on PR for my novel again today. I'm making an online media kit, and building a mailing list of media and reviewers. It's tedious work, nowhere near as fun as writing. Now I know why authors used to hire me to do this for them!
