Early morning trip down the mountain ....all was great.

Time to come home ... then the stress started.

I filled up wih petrol and I was short changed $10. I'd left the service station when I realised, went back but couldn't prove to the fellow at the register that I was missing $10. He said I'd have to wait until they balanced the cash register ... sure!!!

With all the road work on the highway I went the short cut .... all was going well until, for some reason, I took a wrong turn and lost several minutes getting back on the correct road. Not sure how I made the mistake as I've travelled that way many, many times.
Half way along the short cut it is necessary to cross the highway. The highway seemed clear so decided to continue up the highway rather than the short cut ...... silly silly decision. About a kilometre along all the traffic had stopped .... two lanes of it. I couldn't do a 'Ú' turn so had to crawl along. The highway went from 2 lanes into 1 lane (which was causing the hold up) then into 2 lanes again and then back into 1 again.

This blip is after I had been in the traffic for about half an hour - nothing is moving in this blip.
Just beyond here, the traffic went into one lane again. All was going well until a car - 2 behind me in the other lane, decided he wasn't going to let me merge and forced me off the road - actually I had the right of way. Consequently I was annoyed but no road rage... although I felt it.

Took me ages and ages to get home and all I could think about was why didn't I go the second half of the short cut.!!!

Anyway I'm home safe and sound and over driving!!

Not a time to remember but I blipped as I was crawling along.
