Mountain Biking Lesson #1

I had my first mountain biking lesson today, just under two months since I got the bike. Pictured here is my instructor - and coincidentally bezzie mate - Mike. He does this for a living and has been trying to talk me into trying it out for a good few years now, so I finally gave in.

I should have done it years ago! Lots to remember, technique-wise, but it was great fun. I do have a few scars already but only from sharp pedals, not from falling off (yet).

The lesson was up in Dalby Forest, which is only a few miles away - so I'll be going again (unless I ache in the morning...)
