The Stag

Today is our last day in Suffolk. I can hardly believe how kind the weather has been to us. And the wildlife has been wonderful. I got up early again today and had a pre-breakfast wander down to the heath. On my way back, I was rewarded with the sight of 2 young bucks, which, judging by the bellowing that preceded the sighting, had just been seen off by this fine fellow. The photo needs a little more work which I haven't got the resources for here, but I couldn't finish my holiday blips without sharing one of my many deer sightings.
Today we had a gentle stroll down to Sizewell beach and Goose Hill. Lots of seabirds around, as well as a kestrel and a wheatear.
This time tomorrow, we should be home.
