Early Start

I was up at 5-55am as Radio Cornwall wanted to interview me about my 365 blips on their breakfast show (I think its on BBC Iplayer for the next week if anyone wants to listen).

That was over by 6-15 and I was awake (which is very unlike me). The night before Mrs Squiffy had suggested that as I was up so early why not take a sunrise as I have done lots of sunsets but never a sunrise. This seemed like a good idea so I waited, and waited, and waited. Well, it turns out that it was very misty and I have discovered that you don't get a sunrise in the mist, it just gets a bit lighter from no apparent direction. Doh, another blip idea blown.

Fortunately before I left for work this chap stood on our garden fence looking at me. I have tried to shoot him before (No, not with a gun !) and he always exits when I get out the camera but I think the mist disoriented him today as he posed beautifully.
