Egg

Looking after Nigels chickens,ducks and turkeys while he is away this weekend. In return we get the eggs - around 6 a day!!!

Had to get a picture of this particular egg laid by one of the hens as the colour is so fantastic. The egg tastes great too.

Made Mrs. CookingPod a tortilla to take to her book club - eggs, potatoes and onions from the allotment, sea salt was Welsh so all pretty local. The food miles would have been outstanding except that I cannot get Welsh olive oil, even though the current weather feels like we should.
