Hampton pool

Another scorcher of a day.
After school, daughter #2 went to the Hampton outdoor pool with her friend. Daughter #1 didn't want to go because she had been playing tag rugby all afternoon at school. Her team were runners up so she was sporting a medal when she got home.

Whilst the girls were swimming in the pool, I sat on the side and read my book. Just before leaving, we bought an ice cream. Just like a proper summer's day. We then picked up daughter #1, hubby and my son and drove daughter #1 to kayaking. Whilst she was on the river, we went to the Angler's pub and had a drink overlooking the river.

When I picked her up, all the girls in the group were jumping off the side and into the river (in the dark). I wish the weather would stay like this until Christmas....
