Everyday I Write The Book

Shades of glory

Had a really nice evening in the Talbot, soaking up the early evening sunshine then eating in the restaurant. Waiter was a sweetie but we had a few language problems confusing the words batter and butter . Not as bad as the barman (I say man but he looked about 12 years old) who tried to make me a shandy using tonic water. You had to be there.

So this is the daughter with eyes in the back of her head on the eve of going to Uni. With number one son flying off to Gran Canaria tomorrow the house will seem a bit empty for a few days. Got some more family pics on a facebook album if you are interested - it really was quite nice.

My world is changing. Feels a bit sad but I'm very lucky. And this weekend is going to be sunny.
