V is for...

...VTOL!

1. Have random idea for something not-so-obvious for the 'V' blip.

2. Take two shots with unco-operative toddler.

3. View them on PC later that day to find one isn't correctly in focus thanks to broken lens.

4. Swear lots at GIMP because it's just not doing things quite as you'd like when trying to combine the two photos.

5. Swear more at GIMP and at yourself because you've got a 'final' shot which isn't actually the final one.

6. Upload incorrect photo.

7. Swear, sulk, disappear for a little while.

8. Upload correct photo.

9. Remain disappointed with result.

It's not what I had in my head, but hopefully it kind of links in to the idea I was trying to convey.
